I am not a psychiatrist. I hold a Master of Arts and Medical Science in Biopsychology, am trained as a Brain Health Coach through Dr. Daniel Amen University and have recently completed a two-year fellowship in Functional Psychiatry. These experiences have shaped my unique, integrative approach to care that combines medical expertise with functional, evidence-based strategies.

Services

With over 25 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, much of it in Primary Care, I have had the privilege of caring for patients of all ages. Over the years, I have focused extensively on helping children and adults with ADHD and other emotional, mental, or behavioral challenges. Through this work, I have seen firsthand that many psychological struggles often have deeper roots—ranging from nutritional and genetic factors to trauma, stress, and environmental influences—that must be addressed for true healing and lasting wellness.

My approach is centered on uncovering the root causes that are preventing the patient from living their healthiest and fullest life. While medication can sometimes play an important role, I strive to minimize its use when possible, focusing instead on comprehensive, individualized care that addresses the whole person, including a healthier diet, dietary supplements, mediation and prayer.

These experiences have shaped my unique, integrative approach to care that combines medical expertise and biblical principles with functional, evidence-based strategies.

I will work with you and your primary healthcare provided to develop a plan customized for you. Online, telephone and in person appointments are available.

I am honored to share my passion for healthy living to the people of Tennessee and look forward to partnering with individuals and families on their journey toward improved physical, mental and emotional well-being.
